French for FSL Parents

A French language learning course for parents of children in French Second Language (FSL) programs.

This parent support program is available to help parents understand the basics of the FSL curriculum and FSL learning. An appropriate French language learning opportunity is provided for those parents who have children in French Second Language (FSL) programs. Courses will cover basic French language aspects, and workshops and / or presentations specifically designed to address practical strategies that parents can apply to support their children as they progress through FSL program.

In the first year the project will facilitate two courses, one in the RM of Springfield and the other in Morden, MB. Both the second and third years will offer three courses each in both rural and urban Manitoba centers.
