At the Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface

An interactive, full-day career focused event that enhances awareness of different careers available to bilingual individuals.  300 French Immersion students and 300 Basic French students in grades 10 and 11 participate in interactive workshops concerning industries / professions deemed to be more attainable to bilingual individuals. Workshops are an hour long and focus on the advantages of being bilingual in the specific fields. 

Using the bilingual advantage as the focal point, each workshop provides:

• A general overview of the industry with relevant career path options.

• Preferred course selections in high school and relevant post-secondary education courses that will enhance career opportunities.

• Local, national, and international opportunities in this industry.

• Desired personal attributes for the related career paths.

• Earning potentials in the various professions in this industry.

• Opportunity for open discussion and questions.

 Students also enjoy a motivational keynote address, lunch, and French cultural entertainment specific to teen culture.
